Transys Projects Ltd Offer to Assist Train Operators to Reduce Carbon Footprint with Self Financing Modification(24th January 2008)
Reduction in Energy Usage

Transys Projects have modified a number of vehicles aiming to assist Train Operating Companies (TOC’s) achieve reductions in energy usage and therefore a reduction in energy expenditure whilst assisting the TOC to reduce their operational ‘Carbon Footprint’.
To achieve this TPL have designed a modification to the Saloon Heating System for MkIII Coaching Stock and EMU vehicles that automatically reduces electrical demand during stabling. <Read More> .

 

Transys Projects Ltd Strengthens its Management Team in Preparation for Futher Growth (10th September 2007)

Birmingham based Transys Projects Ltd plans to expand its presence in the UK Rail market where the company is currently providing turnkey refurbishment, maintenance support, consultancy and a broad range of enhancements to passenger trains and locomotives. 
The increasingly diverse product range the company offers, coupled with a need to service ever larger projects has led to the expansion and reconfiguration of the company’s management team with an emphasis on customer care, materials support and projects delivery.

Transys Projects Ltd Refurbish Class 170 Turbostars for Porterbrook and First - TransPennine Express (10th Septemember 2007)

The existing fleet of five Class 170 Turbostars operated by TransPennine Express is being supplemented by additional vehicles increasing the fleet to nine units.
 
In response to an enquiry for a rapid refurbishment of this fleet from Porterbrook Leasing, Transys Projects were able to offer an ambitious installation programme by utilising the key skills of their team based at their Clacton Workshop. < Read More>
